Wired Productions and developer Angry Demon Studio dropped a new trailer during Fear Fest for the upcoming ultra-violent hack-and-skate title, Gori: Cuddly Carnage. The trailer also revealed the Day One cosmetic skins for Gori and F.R.A.N.K. for when the game launches.
Since the launch of the Gori: Cuddly Carnage demo on Steam, players have racked up a total of 5,121,625 unicorn limbs removed for the brutally violent title. To celebrate this feat, a new trailer was revealed during Fear Fest showcasing some of the bloody kills and boss encounters from the game’s early stages.
In addition to showing off some of the game’s twisted abominations and visceral combat, the trailer also revealed the Day One cosmetic skins. These skins, available for Gori and F.R.A.N.K., are a thank you to those who wishlist the game and purchase the game during the launch period. The Gori: Cuddly Carnage Fear Fest trailer is available for viewing below or on the Wired Productions YouTube channel.
Last month during a MIX event hosted by Media Indie Exchange an Off Panel Trailer was debuted showing off a range of gameplay elements. Embracing the comic book storytelling and style of the game, this trailer went on to reveal a never before seen level, new environments, and new combat traversal mechanics.
Centered around Gori, who rides his foul-mouthed skateboard named F.R.A.N.K. and performs gnarly acrobatics, the game is set in a futuristic neon world of intense high-speed destruction. Armies of mutated toys litter the twisted world of arcade machines. These zombie-like hordes of toys lie in wait to attack Gori.
As Gori battles against a rampant A.I. hell-bent on ending his life, players will find combat to be visceral leaving Gori thoroughly blood-soaked. With high-energy thrills, Gori will use devastating combos, glory kills, and powerful charged abilities, to rip these toys to shreds. Maybe, in the end, Gori can save some of his 9 lives for a comfy retirement.
Developed in Unreal Engine 5, Gori: Cuddly Carnage is also a winner of the Epic MegaGrant.
