Mimimi Games have released a demo during Steam Next Fest for their upcoming stealth strategy game, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew.
The contains roughly two to four hours of gameplay time, depending on a player’s experience in the genre and playstyle. All of the demo gameplay is occurs in the first act. Gameplay content also includes the game’s intro and various missions on two islands. Plus players will get to visit the living ghost ship, the Red Marley, which acts as a hub and home between missions.
Gameplay take’s place in an alternate Golden Age of Piracy in the Lost Caribbean. The Red Marley’s crew is on the hunt for a mysterious treasure from the legendary Captain Mordechai. Their base of operations is the Red Marley, a ship with a living soul and cursed crew of pirates.
Every crewmate has a unique supernatural power. Last March, the developer introduced several members of the cursed crew in the Characters Trailer. The list of characters include Afia the ships lethal navigator, Gaëlle with a magical cannon, Mr. Mercury the jokester with his pet fish companion Sir Reginald, and ship cook and ninja assassin Toya of Iga.
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Availability
A playable demo for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew is available now during Steam Next Fest. Players can download and play the demo during the event that runs from June 19 to June 26.
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will release on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store as well as Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on August 17, 2023. Where available, players can add the game to their wishlists.
