Tactical Adventures has released their next premium DLC, Solasta: Palace of Ice, for their award-winning team-based tactical fantasy CRPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister. With a focus on higher level characters, this DLC adds over 25 hours of new content.
Billed as the biggest DLC pack to date, Palace of Ice follows the end of the original Solasta: Crown of the Magister with a brand-new campaign. With over 25 hours of new content, players can experience everything in solo or co-op.
The new campaign sees the Soraks infiltrating Gallivan bringing a threat to the Snow Alliance after making a deal with the demons. Heroes are tasked with reuniting the different clans of the Snow Alliance in order to stop the spread of Soraks and Demons. All of this action takes place in a new region.
Discover entirely new locations, weather effects, and new enemy types. Designed with a focus on higher level characters (level 10-16), the DLC offers more spells, items, and armors for character development.
A developer preview of what the game looks like at level 13+ in Palace of Ice was discussed this past April. The preview included subclass features and more high level spells. An example is Sorcerers at level 14 can gain Mana Painter – Mana Balance, where they are healed 5 HP per sorcery point they spend. More details can be found on the game’s website in the Solasta: Palace of Ice – Taking a look at Level 13+ article. High level gameplay can also be seen in the Solasta: Palace of Ice – High Level Gameplay video from Tactical Adventures.
Two new race ancestries are available: Gnomes and Tieflings. These additions help complete the party experience and are playable on all available campaigns. New Dungeon Maker environments have been added that feature Palace of Ice-themed elements.
Additional content is included in an all-new free content update. This free update adds more faces for character creation, Dungeon Maker improvements, the ability to play levels 12-16, a dedicated world map, and an NPC follower system.
