Tactical Adventures have announced the upcoming release of Solasta: Palace of Ice, a premium DLC for their team-based tactical fantasy CRPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister. This new DLC adds over 25 hours of new content for award-winning studio’s fantasy title.
Taking place at the end of the original Crown of the Magister campaign, Palace of Ice gives players new content with higher level characters (level 10-16) in mind. Entire new locations are ready to be discovered along with new enemy types and weather effects. Higher level character development comes in the form of spells, items, armors, and more.
Characters below level 10 will be granted enough experience to reach level 10 when launching the new DLC. This experience grant will prompt players to do the standard level up process.
Two new ancestries are being added: Gnomes and Tieflings. These additions help complete the party experience and will be playable on all available campaigns.
In the Dungeon Maker, creators will be able to find new Palace of Ice-themed environments for their own adventures.
This past April, the developer gave a preview of what the game looks like at level 13+ in Palace of Ice. The look included subclass features and more high level spells. For example Sorcerers at level 14 can gain Mana Painter – Mana Balance where they are healed 5 HP per sorcery point they spend. Solasta: Palace of Ice Availability
The Solasta: Palace of Ice premium DLC launches on May 25, 2023. Both PC and Xbox players will be able to purchase the DLC for $14.99 / £14.99 / €14.99. Note that the Solasta: Palace of Ice DLC requires the Crown of the Magister base game.
On May 25, Tactical Adventures will release the Solasta: Lightbringers Edition. This complete collection features the base game along with all previous DLC content packs such as Inner Strength, Lost Valley and Primal Calling.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister is available on Windows PC through Humble Bundle, Steam or GOG for $39.99 / £30.99 / €39.99. Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S console owners can purchase the game from the Microsoft Store for $39.99 / £30.99 / €39.99 or as a part of the Xbox Game Pass.
