Publisher HOOK and Swedish indie developer Overflow have released the fast-paced rogue-lite shooter, Madshot Road to Madness on Steam. This standalone experience was inspired by the Early Access launch of Madshot which features vertical acrobatic survival gunplay.
Gamers who have already purchased the Early Access title Madshot, will be able to access Madshot Road to Madness for free through the game and in their Steam library.
Players will face endless nightmarish abominations in head-to-head combat while moving through the 2D Lovecraftian world. Numerous unlockable weapons, abilities, and upgrades await those who wish to fight back against the horrific monsters. Those who survive the longest can try to top the leaderboards.
A demo is available on Steam for players to try out and see if they have what it takes to take on this challenge. The demo features all of the acrobatic roguelike shooting action and a handful of the unlockable weapons, ultimate abilities, and sidearms available in the spin-off game.
Madshot Road to Madness is available as a standalone game experience on Steam for $2.99 / £2.69 / €2.99. The Early Access game Madshot is available on PC via Steam for $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99. Follow @MadshotTheGame on Twitter for more information.
