Wales Interactive has released a new ‘Meet the Elites’ Sker Ritual trailer as the studio heads its way to Gamescom. A Steam Early Access release for the horror FPS is set for October right before Halloween.
The new ‘Meet the Elites’ trailer features some of nasty elites found on Sker Island. A retro dive helmet covered Mariner, a fast teleporting Banshee, the deadly invisible Phantom, and the massive pyromaniac Blazeslinger are four elites featured in the video. These supercharged elites will join the Quiet Ones on the island who only want to destroy all players.
On Sker Island, players fight back either solo or in up-to four players online. The intensity of the island’s horrors scale with the number of players. Characters can be customized with interchangeable in-game masks are players get their fill of gore. Voice lines allow for the taunting of teammates and an upgradable steampunk inspired weapon system further aid in the carnage. More game details such as the Miracles system will be revealed in the future.
For those attending Gamescom, Wales Interactive will be there. Gamescom is a great opportunity to talk to studio about Sker Ritual and other titles in their portfolio such as Who Pressed Mute on Uncle Marcus? or the original Quiet Ones in Maid of Sker.
Sker Ritual has a planned Early Access release date for October, 2022, on Steam. Players can wishlist the Windows PC game now. The version 1.0 PC and console launch is planned for Q1 2023. More information can be found by joining the game’s Discord or by visiting walesinteractive.com/skerritual.
