Gas Station Simulator Release Date Set for Mid-September

Movie Games S.A. and Polish developer DRAGO entertainment have set a PC release date for Gas Station Simulator. The indie developer and simulation specialist in April of this year released the free Gas Station Simulator: Prologue – Early Days. Since the April release, the prologue has seen more than 300,000 downloads, a 92% positive rating on Steam, and more than 20 million views on YouTube.

Set in the middle of a North American desert, players take control of an abandoned gas station. At the core of this comprehensive station management sim one will need to renovate, expand, and run the daily operations of their station. From the very start the place will need to be cleaned, repaired, painted, decorated, and then maintained.

Once the station is in running order, players will need to find ways of attracting new customers to survive. Earned funds can be used to upgrade tools and purchase new equipment that expands operations. Customers are many and varied with each requiring courtesy and respect in order to gain a positive reputation.

Besides the day to day operations and management of the station, there are several mini games and other activities to keep players busy. A feature of the game is its emergent gameplay from the combined high interactivity and variety of random encounters. In the end success is dependent on one’s skills as a small business owner and the ability to grow the tiny establishment into a full-fledged service station.

Gas Station Simulator has a September 15, 2021 release date set for PC on Steam. A demo is currently available on the game’s Steam page. The Gas Station Simulator: Prologue – Early Days is also available on Steam and is free to play. Currently a version of the game is in development for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 with a planned 2022 release. For more information about the game visit its Steam page.
