Leonardo Interactive and developer MadLight Studio released their sci-fi puzzle platformer, Seed of Life, on PC through Steam. The futuristic 3D third-person game with a rich story launches with a week-long discount and also has a demo available for gamers to try before buying.
Cora is the last survivor of Lumia. In her shoes, players set out on an epic adventure and learn about the persistence of life. Her world is dying after being ravaged by alien invaders who are stealing the planet’s lifeforce. The only hope for her homeworld is to activate an alien device known as The Seed. Capable of generating the essence of life, this device, can save the planet from complete annihilation.
Looking to the light will aid players as they navigate their way through the labyrinth-like planet. During the journey one may find strange Talisman capsules where they can learn special abilities. Some of these abilities will allow a player to defy the very laws of nature. In order to conquer the dangers of the dying world, players will need the aid of these new abilities. A cute alien assistant named Nar will provide aid to Cora on her journey when solving challenging puzzles and taking down the increasingly menacing alien invaders.
Featuring triple-A quality graphics, the game allow players to visually explore the sci-fi universe set in a dystopian future. Bright colors and total darkness work with each other to create a unique art style as players explore the emotional story-driven journey. Gameplay is focused around RPG elements, puzzles, dangerous creatures, and mysteries that aim to keep players both curious and excited to see what lie ahead.
Talisman capsules provide new abilities. Players will need to collect Lumium in order to upgrade and strategically use these new items. Upgrades can aid in defying gravity and overcoming the different challenges. Namurian Shadows roam the land and are searching for any remaining Lumium. Through the use of stealth combat tactics players can evade and escape these foes. While navigating dangerous paths or finding points of interest, the world is beautiful, vast, and eagerly waiting for players to discover its secrets.
Seed of Life is available on Windows PC through Steam for $24.99 USD. A 20% off release promotion runs until August 18, 2021.
