A new skateboarding simulation game from creā-ture Studios, Session, is grabbing some air and dropping right into early access on Steam.
It’s time for players to dust off their skateboarding lingo and jump into the sick trick action. Session, inspired by the golden era of skateboarding, captures the creativity, culture, and madness of the sport. With collaborative efforts from pros such as Donovan Strain and realistic skate physics, Session creates a truly grounded skateboarding experience.
In the early access debut players can experience a 1:1 scale environment of New York’s lower Manhattan that features the Brooklyn Banks and surrounding financial district. During the early access phase the studio will be working with the community’s feedback to expand the game to include some of the world’s most legendary skate locations.
Filming has always been a major part of skateboarding culture. Session features an extended in-game video editor. This editor allows players to create and share their most gnarly tricks in their own highlight reels and montages.
Additional game features include true stance-stick controls where each stick of the gamepad controls one foot. Each control replicates the real deal and teaches players to pull off tricks like an expert. A game controller is required to play as keyboard and mouse are not supported.
Session is now available in early access on Steam for Windows PC at a price of $19.99 USD. An Xbox One launch through Xbox Game Preview is expected to come later in fall 2019.
