Developers Vile Monarch and publisher Devolver Digital have opened the doors for Weedcraft Inc with the games official launch.
Leading up to the game’s launch there have been two different scenario gameplay videos released. One features two brothers starting a cannabis business venture and the other scenario features a former convict who spent a decade in prison for things that aren’t considered crimes anymore.
Each of the scenarios in the game follows a given business venture dealing with the various ins and outs of the weed business. Learn about legalization and the various levels of production. Each of the scenarios test both the green thumb and the business side of cannabis entrepreneurship.
Players will have to decide which strains of weed to cultivate. Understanding how to tweak the growing environment for their plants, which soil nutrients are needed for optimal strain quality, and when to cater to the expensive needs of the booming market’s demographics are all necessary fro success.
The scenarios in Weedcraft Inc are created by Lead Writer Scott Alexander who has extensively research the often vast and very difficult landscape that is U.S. legalization policy and politics. Stories in these scenarios take examples of the more ludicrous loopholes unique to specific regions along with the realities of prejudice into the game’s narrative. All of this creates a realistic true-to-life story of understanding the legalization debate in people’s lives.
Weedcraft Inc is now available today, April 11, 2019 on Steam for $19.99 USD. A special Weedcraft Inc launch promotion runs until April 18 for $16.99 USD. Wedcraft Inc is also available at GOG with a $16.99 USD promotion running until April 25 where buyers will receive the Austin High movie for free in addition to the game.
