Kalypso Media and Limbic Entertainment have announced the borders to Tropico 6 are now globally open and El Presidente awaits. Penultimo is back too and busy grooming the prize llama Hector for the presidential parade celebrating Tropico 6’s official global release launch.
The latest installment in the Tropico franchise see’s its global release today. Tropico 6 for the first time in the series allows players to manage extensive archipelagos, build bridges to the islands, new modes of transportation and infrastructure.
As El Presidente players can send their Tropicans on raids to steal wonders or the world such as the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower. The palace feature customization and election speeches can be given from the balcony to win the hearts and minds of the Tropicans.
New challenges wait for players both domestic and international as Tropicans once more in these times of political and social unrest call for El Presidente to lead them to prosperity.
Tropico 6 is now available during its global release on Steam for Windows PC and Linux for $49.99 USD. The El Prez Edition is $54.99 USD and features exclusive palace designs, flamingo pond, and digital soundtrack. Mac release will follow soon. Boxed version will release on April 2, 2019. Console versions for PS4 and Xbox One are set for a summer 2019 release.
