Publisher Armor Games Studios and developers Vladimir Fedyushkin and Nicolai Danielsen have announced Jet Lancer, a fast-paced aerial combat game.
The game features frenetic aerial combat where the player hunts enemy pilots, shoot-up giant robots, and defy death at supersonic speeds. Players start as a rookie mercenary and work their way to an ace pilot in a story-driven single player campaign.
Personal play styles are accommodated with a customizable load out on the jet as new weapons are acquired.
Jet Lancer started out as a passion project and the developers are grateful for the support of Armor Games Studios.
When we started our passion project, I couldn’t have ever imagined that one day it would grow so big it would turn into my actual job. I’m so grateful for the support of Armor Games Studios
Vladimir Fedyushkin, Developer, Jet Lancer
Armor Games Studios expressed their own excitement over finding the small team and the project.
Vladimir and Nicolai are talented, energetic developers working on a project we’re proud to support. It’s rare to find a team this small creating something so ambitious. We hope you’re as excited as we are to play the game
Justin Ramos, Director of Game Publishing, Armor Games Studios
The game’s guitar-shredding soundtrack was created by the composition and sound design duo Fat Bard (@Fat_Bard Twitter).
Jet Lancer will be available on Steam in 2019.
Armor Games Studios (@ArmorGameStudio Twitter) began as a popular portal for online gaming and now is the publishing arm of Armor Games that aims to work directly with and help foster talented indie developers to create unique and engaging games of all types for all platforms.
Vladimir Fedyushkin (@WhyNotArtDump Twitter) is the designer of Jet Lancer. From a young age he was more interested in learning how games are made rather than playing them. Starting the moment he learned to tweak a config file in GTA 3, he taught himself to script, code, texture, and design games. A string of random events in his life led him to game development as a career and he hasn’t looked back.
Nicolai Danielsen (@NicolaiGD Twitter) is the code wizard in charge of making things move on the screen. He hits buttons and helps to make the game as fun as it is envisioned in their minds.
