Inner Void Interactive and their publisher, Digital Tribe Games, is launching Chef: A Restaurant Tycoon, a restaurant management simulation game, December 6, 2018 on Steam Early Access.
The game is described as a real sandbox experience where all management choices matter. Players create their own avatar and level them up across six different skill trees with over 100 abilities to choose from. Ascend from a humble cook to a world famous chef by starting with pocket change, a small restaurant, and an ambitious dream.
Experience full restaurant management. Choose the location and layout of the restaurant. Design the menu, determine the restaurant’s policies, and don’t forget to hire staff. There are over 150 different variations for floors and walls along with over 200 appliances and decorations that can be individually placed and colored.
Build your menu by picking your cooking style. Specialize in meat or seafood, vegan or vegetarian, or offer a vast selection of spicy exotic dishes. A realistic recipe editor allows players to use their skills and ingredients at their disposal to create one-of-a-kind dishes that are accurately rated by taste and aroma.
During Early Access the developer’s goal is to add a Linux and Mac version. In addition, expand skill-trees to the entire staff, the possibility of owning multiple restaurants at once, special cooking challenges with various competitors, and extended management options such as customization, tools, decorations, events, recipes, and ingredients.
Chef: A Restaurant Tycoon hits Steam Early Access on December 6, 2018 with English localization. Italian, Chinese, Russian, Polish, and German are TBA.
