Sintopia: A Sinful God-Building Sim Burns into Early Access This September

Team17 Digital and Piraknights Games are unleashing Sintopia, a darkly humorous blend of city-building and God simulation, where players rule a hellish empire and punish a quirky chickpea civilization’s sins. This irreverent title launches into Early Access on September 4, 2025, with a sinfully chaotic free demo available from June 4.

Fiery Features and Sinful Strategy

Sintopia blends strategic empire-building with divine chaos, tasking players with managing the Overworld’s sinful chickpea people and Hell’s profitable punishment system. The updated demo showcases fiery new features, including:

  • Magmine Spell: A throwable fireball that explodes or becomes a landmine.
  • New UI Panel: Tracks stats and challenge modifiers in orbital view.
  • Reworked Mechanics: Fear/Motivation props and the Liber Administratum tech tree are streamlined for efficiency.
  • Quality-of-Life Upgrades: Rebindable key bindings, raid alerts, scaled enemy difficulty, and permanent object highlights.
  • Expanded Objectives: New main and secondary map goals with fresh modifiers.

These additions, alongside a balancing pass and enhanced Force Push, make the demo a devilish delight. The release date trailer highlights Sintopia’s vibrant art and tongue-in-cheek tone, perfect for fans of Cities: Skylines or Black & White seeking a sinful twist.
