Set in the neon-lit, collapsing megalopolis of Nuevo Caracas, this ambitious title boasts a mind-bending narrative by filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, The Neon Demon) and writer E.J.A. Warren.
A Cyberpunk Saga in Nuevo Caracas
In La Quimera, players command a down-on-their-luck PMC group entangled in a brutal power struggle among rival factions and shadowy corporations. Nuevo Caracas, a sprawling Latin American mega-city, teeters on the edge of technological collapse, its neon-drenched skyscrapers, overgrown ruins, and jungle outskirts patrolled by rogue robotic beasts. Mystical events blur reality and illusion, deepening the cinematic story crafted by Refn and Warren. Whether playing solo or in three-player co-op, players dive into a gritty cyberpunk world where every choice feels urgent.
Explosive Gameplay and Early Access Evolution
Gameplay fuses fast-paced FPS action with high-tech exosuits, granting superhuman strength and gadgets to outwit enemies. Upgrade an arsenal of futuristic weapons and exosuit powers to turn the tide in epic battles. Explore shimmering cityscapes and treacherous jungles, collecting gear to survive. In Early Access, Reburn invites players to shape La Quimera’s future, refining combat, pacing, and narrative based on feedback. Future updates will expand story arcs, add levels, and polish the experience.
