Get ready to cook up a storm in a magical realm! Mage Food Truck, a single-player roguelike deckbuilder crafted by solo indie developer Adam Stewart under his studio One Man Left, is dishing out a free demo at Steam Next Fest: June Edition, from June 9–16, 2025.
Crafting Culinary Chaos
In Mage Food Truck, players steer a magical food truck through a fantastical world, building decks from an ever-growing card collection to gather ingredients, craft mouthwatering recipes, and deliver their culinary creations for gold. Battle monsters that threaten to wreck your truck, and at day’s end, face customer reviews—ranging from zero to three stars—that judge your culinary prowess. The free demo, launching June 6 for early access, includes three introductory scenarios (about 1-2 hours) featuring the Explorer, Chef, and Mage characters.
Curious for more? Last September, One Man Left dropped details about Mage Food Truck via an Announcement Trailer. Now a first 30-minutes gameplay video is out with narration by Adam Stewart that offers sampler of what players can expect during their gaming experience. Check out the first 30-minute gameplay video below for a taste of the action.
