Developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive have released the first gameplay trailer for the next chapter in the Killing Floor franchise, Killing Floor 3. Plus the trailer revealed that Killing Floor 3 will be released in early 2025.
The Killing Floor 3 gameplay trailer introduces players to the first three new playable Nightfall specialists. Fan favorite commando, Mr. Foster, also returns. Each specialist has their own unique set of skills and proficiencies that aid the team in eliminating the Zed threat.
Maps now offer new levels of verticality and traversability. Specialists now have advanced player movement capability such as dashing and climbing. New environmental traps give specialists new strategic opportunities to dispose of Zeds and survive the monstrous army.
Zeds themselves have seen numerous upgrades over their previously seen versions in Killing Floor and Killing Floor 2. These Zeds have been designed for maximum destruction. Enhancements in weaponry, movement, AI, and enemy behavior are all a part of their arsenal against specialists. The gameplay trailer also features Horzine’s latest gruesome and powerful creation, The Impaler.

Killing Floor 3 Details
Set in the year 2091, Killing Floor 3 takes place 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2. Having created the ultimate army, Megacorp Horzine now controls obedient bioengineered monstrosities known as Zeds. All that stands between these horrific creations and humanity’s future is a ragtag rebel group known as Nightfall.
Play as a Nightfall specialist. Join forces with up to five other teammates to battle the Zed army. The world is a war-ravaged dystopian future and is filled with unrelenting waves of Zeds. Survive the onslaught and gain battle experience to unlock new skills and build the ultimate arsenal.
Killing Floor 3 Availability
Set to release in early 2025, Killing Floor 3 is currently in development. The game is planned to release on PC via Humble Bundle, Steam and Epic Games Store as well as on console for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Interested players can wishlist the game now where available.
