Tate Multimedia has released the next big DLC for Kao the Kangaroo, titled Bend the Roo’les, on every platform. PC players can grab a copy of the base game, Kao the Kangaroo, for free on the Epic Games Store for a limited time.
The Bend the Roo’les DLC features a whole new campaign along with a new enemy boss, the Crab King. There are a total of five new levels each with different challenges including a time challenge, rising lava, dimming light, and a 2D level.
Available on PC via GOG, Steam, and Epic Games Store, and on consoles for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, the Kao the Kangaroo Bend the Roo’les DLC is priced at $7.99 / £6.59 / €7.99.
Alongside of the DLC launch, comes the Kao the Kangaroo: Anniversary Edition launch on all platforms. This special edition contains the base game, the previously released Oh! Well DLC and the latest Bend the Roo’les DLC. A few extra bonuses have been added to the PC edition such as an exclusive Art Book and the game’s epic soundtrack. The Kao the Kangaroo: Anniversary Edition is priced at $36.99 on all platforms.
Kao the Kangaroo Release Details
This past April the previously GOG exclusive Kao the Kangaroo: The Trilogy was released on Steam and Epic Games Store with a price point set at just under $5. The trilogy set includes the original Kao the Kangaroo (2000), Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2 (2003), and Kao the Kangaroo: Mystery of Volcano (2005).
Until May 11, 2023, PC players can grab a copy of the base game, Kao the Kangaroo, for free on the Epic Games Store.
Kao the Kangaroo is available digitally on Windows PC from Steam and Epic Games Store for $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99. The game is also available digitally on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
