Fireshine Games and developer Ember Paw Games have announced they are accepting Closed Alpha sign-ups for their upcoming Viking-themed roguelite twin-stick shooter, Odinfall. This summer the game will launch on Steam Early Access for PC.
Ragnarok brought about the end. Now in a post-apocalyptic world, as one of the many playable characters, players must stop Odin from bringing about a second Ragnarok. Ultimately, who wants to live through a second world ending event?
Play as the Cyberserker and punch old gods in the face. As a Dark Elf players can slice through mobs. Dive into the mines to dig up some gold and upgrade gear as a Dwarf. Gnomes unleash the ultimate in boom by dual-wielding guns twice their size. To round out this ensemble of characters is a Viking Moose that can stampede foes.
Odinfall is an outrageously over-the-top, fun & frantic roguelite shooter that fans of the genre are going to dig. Ember Paw has some truly awesome ideas for where they want to take the game throughout Early Access, and we can’t wait to invite players along for this godly ride through a post-apocalyptica later this summer. Because honestly, in what other game can you launch an assault against Odin as a viking moose?

To take down Odin, one will need some outrageous weapons. Both ranged and melee options are available. A modifiable armory allows for endless weapon combinations such as an acid-spitting minigun or an ice-bow that turns foes into popsicles. Upgrade both skills and abilities to take on the various Norse gods in frantic fast-paced combat.
The procedurally-generated apocalyptic world allows players to cut their path through the wastelands via destructible levels. Death shouldn’t be feared as one engages Odin’s forces and put an end to his plans.
Announcing Odinfall for the first time today really is a dream come true.
