Thunderful has released their heartwarming island adventure, Wavetale, on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox.
Explore and unravel stories of the past while saving the islanders from mysterious sea creatures. Secrets hidden beneath the sea’s surface await discovery in this adventure set in the decaying archipelago of Strandville.
The game’s story follows Sigrid, a teenage girl living on the small island with her grandmother. After befriending an enigmatic shadow that grants her the power to walk on water, she begins to uncover hidden secrets of a mysterious submerged land.
As players are introduced the to interesting and diverse cast of characters on the island they will also experience a moving story that includes loss and reconciliation. From frustrated fisherman to secretive hermits along with a few pirates, players will find many intriguing individuals during their adventure. Players will be able to document their epic tale via Sigrid’s scrapbook with special drawings offering more details about the world and her abilities.
Wavetale is set to make a huge splash with its charming story and mysterious secrets. I can’t wait for everyone to dive headfirst into the fun and try it on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch and PC.
