Harvest Days Farming Life Sim Enters Early Access

Toplitz Productions and indie developer Family Devs released in Early Access their open-ended country-life farming sim Harvest Days. Taking inspiration from Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing, this farming life sim and RPG gives players an opportunity to escape the big city and enjoy the rural life.

Relax and grow crops on one’s own little piece of land. Take over a small forgotten farm and become one with nature by managing animals, tending a garden, harvesting crops, gathering resources, trading products and goods, going fishing, and exploring the open world via horseback.

Help expand the local community by building up the surroundings. Stop for a quick chat with interesting neighbors. One might even make a new friend or two. Use profits from buying, selling, and trading products in the community to invest back into the farm.

A range of decorations allow players to give their personal touch to their in-game home. Hard work and wise business management skills are necessary for one to grow their farm while keeping the surrounding nature untouched.

Players have complete creative freedom at their hands in the low-poly graphics and a sandbox environment. With time players can build their dream farm.

Early Access is planned last for six to nine months. The current aim is for a 1.0 release in November. If there are changes to the release date they will be communicated during the Early Access phase. In the full version players can expect to find a bigger and polished map with more places to discover. New gameplay mechanics, more items, UI/UX improvements, sound and music improvements, and optimizations are all planned for the release version of the game. Currently the game is fully playable with all the key features implemented.

In summer 2021, Harvest Days developer Family Devs held a successful Kickstarter campaign event. When the campaign concluded a total of 542 backers pledged €18,842 or roughly $21,200 USD. This funding level also included the first stretch goal of minigames. Pre-alpha Kickstarter backers for the game received their keys last December.

Harvest Days is available in Early Access on Windows PC from Steam and GOG for $14.99. A 20% off Early Access launch discount is available until May 19, 2022. For more information about the game follow @harvestdaysgame on Twitter or visit harvestdaysgame.net.
