Skul: The Hero Slayer Steam Midweek Madness Discount

The smash hit roguelite 2D platformer, Skul: The Hero Slayer, is on sale now during Steam’s Midweek Madness deal. Players only have until March 24, to get 35% off the game on Steam.

NEOWIZ and indie developer SouthPAW Games released the game on Steam in January 2021. In just five days after release, Skul: The Hero Slayer sold 100,000 copies. In addition the game was the first Korean-packaged indie title to sell a million copies. Since release the game has garnered a 93% positive review rating on Steam with over 28,000 reviews.

For those unfamiliar with Skul: The Hero Slayer, the game is a 2D action-platformer with roguelike features. With ever-changing and challenging maps, players are kept thinking and ready for anything. Skul, the game’s hero, is no regular skeleton. His abilities depend on which skull he is wearing. Using up to 2 skulls at a time, players can choose which combo of skulls they enjoy as they battle enemies. All of Skul’s power is in the player’s hands.

Released this past February, the game’s Reformation update offered improved visuals and a major balancing pass on skull abilities.

Skul: The Hero Slayer is regularly available on PC for Windows, Mac and Linux through Humble Bundle and Steam for $19.99 USD. The game is also available on Nintendo Switch from the Nintendo eShop, on PS4 from the PlayStation Store, and on Xbox from Microsoft with each priced at $19.99 USD. Additionally the game is now included with GamePass. A Skul: The Hero Slayer Soundtrack is available for $4.99 USD.
