Festival Tycoon Full Moon Party Update, Latest Roadmap

Future Friends Games and independent studio Dreihaus, run by solo developer Johannes Gäbler, released the Full Moon Party Update for their early access music festival sim Festival Tycoon. Along with the update and in celebration of the Lunar New Year, a 25% off discount is available for a limited time.

The Full Moon Party early access for Festival Tycoon adds the all important Band Coordinator. This important addition allows players to free up their time from having to watch the gates for when the bands arrive. Whether they are an A-list or a Z-list band, the coordinator will welcome them to the festival. With their special training, coordinators are able to deal with the high maintenance band members and will look after them backstage before they hit the stage at their scheduled time.

A new genre rating scheme is included in the update. Now the end of festival results are calculated per stage instead of the festival as a whole. The developer would like to hear feedback on this change in the Steam forums or on the game’s official Discord server.

Players now have a say in how the event and music industry is shaped in game. After every season players get to decide the direction of certain bands and that of sponsors too. The update also features several bug fixes, UI changes, and optimizations. A more complete list of changes can be found on the game’s Steam page here.

Festival Tycoon is available in early access for Windows PC through Steam for $9.99 USD. A Festival Tycoon Supporter Pack DLC is available for $4.99 USD that includes a special in-game item. In celebration of the Lunar New Year, a 25% discount is available until February 3, 2022. More information about Festival Tycoon can be found by following @FestivalTycoon on Twitter or visiting the game’s website at festivaltycoon.com.
