Toplitz Productions and developer Family Devs announced that their Kickstarter campaign for the open-ended country-life RPG Harvest Days has reached full funding with time still left for stretch goals. The previously featured Gamescom 2021 Indie Arcade Village game has also met the first stretch goal and is on its way to hitting the second stretch goal with less than two days left for the campaign.
Harvest Days takes inspiration from by Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, and Story of Seasons, as it allows players to create a farm of their dreams, build relationships, and explore an open 3D world full of places. Whisking away players from the urban grind, the country life gives them an opportunity to enjoy the charming open plains.
Located in Duda’s Village, players find themselves the owner of a farm plot in the same village where their grandparents reside. After a recent rural exodus the village is in need to help. Using some tools, a few coins, and some old fashioned hard work players might be able to restore the village to its former glory while building wonderful relationships with those in the community.
Several tiers of support are available for Harvest Days Kickstarter. The base tier which offers the base game for PC or console along with a Kickstarter exclusive, HD digital wallpaper pack, development updates, and addition to the thank you supporter section in-game is available for about $24. Tiers continue all the way up to the Character Designer Pack which includes multiple copies of the base tier items plus other Toplitz Productions game title keys, a customized in-game statue with name and message, design an adoptable in-game pet, design an in-game tourist NPC, and much more for about $2,339. Prices in US dollars are subject to currency conversion changes as the campaign is based on the Euro.
The Harvest Days Kickstarter officially kicked-off on August 31, 2021 and is in its final hours of the campaign which is set to conclude on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at 10 AM PDT. At the time of this article’s publishing, 503 backers are funding the game with almost 120% of the initial pledge goal reached. This funding level also passes the first stretch goal of minigames and is now well underway to the second stretch goal of a bug hotel. There are several more stretch goals beyond that add an additional season event, farming expansion, village museum, parrots as pets, photo mode, seed fusion, and multiplayer support.
Harvest Days is planned for a second-half 2022 early access release on Steam. Interested players can add the game to their Steam wishlist now. For more information follow @harvestdaysgame on Twitter or visit harvestdaysgame.net.
