The Food GUI has been overhauled to work better with the food rebalances. 12 new items to eat have appeared in the world including Bukeberries that will remove a players food buffs. An iron cooking station is now required for certain meat types. Ovens are used to bake bread and pies. Plus there are a range of items for cauldron improvements such as a spice rack and butcher’s table.

In the world slimy locations and creatures can be seen in the plains. New plantable seeds of birch, oak and onions can be gathered in the world. All those tamed Lox now have a purpose with the Lox saddle. Yes, players can now ride Lox! Explore the world on the Lox and then use the new Cartography table and share map data with other players.

Several new equipable items are available for crafting. For weapons there is the crystal battleaxe and silver knife in addition to the bone tower shield and iron buckler. A special butcher knife weapon for butchering tamed animals can be crafted.

Auto-pickup is now toggleable. Graphics have been updated with active point lights and active point light shadows. Tamed creatures are affected by the friendly fire setting.
