Game developer Sharkmob released the first details and gameplay about their new vampire Battle Royale game title, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodhunt. In addition the developer also announced a closed alpha will begin the first week of July.
In the new trailer that is packed full of action, developer Sharkmob begs the question of what would happen if one was a vampire in a war against other vampires. Would one survive the night? The question is explored in a series of action packed sequences that take a look into the dark and intense Battle Royale.
The game is a third-person free-to-play Battle Royale set in the cult classic universe of Vampire: The Masquerade. Players are challenged to become the ultimate vampire in a genre unique game that offers both style and a mature setting.
Set in Prague, the story behind Bloodhunt exposes a secret society. Both humans and vampires have lived and thrived for centuries maintaining The Masquerade. Now a group known as The Entity is on a holy mission to annihilate all the vampires as they take to the streets all the while a treacherous betrayal has started a war amongst the various vampire sects. Players will need to master their supernatural powers, weapons, and wit in order to survive the night and restore the masquerade.
It’s great to finally unveil what the team has been working on since the inception of the studio. Our goal is to deliver a mature, unique experience for the genre. We hope Bloodhunt will become just that for fans of both battle royale games and Vampire: The Masquerade alike.
