KEMCO and developer Exe-Create released their high-quality pixel-art JRPG, Chroma Quaternion, on PC, mobile devices and the Xbox consoles today. The single player JRPG focuses on a quest around four kingdoms that are colored by the seasons.
Four kingdoms, colored by the seasons, exist in the world. They are the kingdoms of Spree, Sama, Otam, and Wint. Springizens live their quiet lives and roles are granted by the Quadeities. The normalcy of these kingdoms has been interrupted by strange happenings and a quest for callings has been called.
There is a person who cannot find a calling, a person bound by a preordained calling, and a person not granted a calling. Each of these individuals will face their worries and in doing such will grow.
Characters can have up to three roles. Every role has its own skills and special uses. There costume changes for the various roles. During battle, if the Act Orbs are charged, players can use Act Over which allows up to four continuous actions. The more charged the orbs, the bigger the damage that can be inflicted at once. However, keeping the orbs charged can be useful in allowing one to escape from danger.
Other features include a maximum level of 999. There is an easy to use auto-battle system and leveling is simple. Each kingdom is complete with scenery and monsters that are suited for the environment. The world itself is full of colorful pixel art from the enemy boss graphics to all the animations. Only by journeying through the four kingdoms will players get to the bottom of the mystery of the strange happenings.
Chroma Quaternion is available on Windows PC through Steam for $14.99 USD. A 10% off PC launch discount promotion runs until May 13, 2021 on Steam. The game is also available on iOS and Android for mobile devices and on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S console systems. More information about Chroma Quaternion can be found on the game’s Steam page or on the game’s page on the publisher’s website here.
