Indie game developer Baked Games and publisher PlayWay have announced details about the upcoming release of Prison Simulator and Prison Simulator Prologue along with a free demo. The game challenges players by managing hardcore convicted criminals in a prison environment.
In the first-person single player game one finds themself entering the life of prison as a guard. There are 30 days left before a serious promotion, but can the player handle all the important duties and responsibilities of their guard job?
Life behind bars is hard and sometimes brutal. As a guard, players are tasked with keeping peace in the yard. At the same time they will be accepting new inmates, conducting cell shakedowns, confiscating contraband, monitoring the inmates, conduct surveillance and resolve conflicts. Campaign mode lets players take on a divided time schedule with certain tasks they must perform. Free Play mode allows one the freedom to do as they please from fighting the prisoners to the other guards.
In the Prologue players will experience a game that precedes the events in the main game. Players are challenged to survive a real prison riot and deal with a very angry Warden. Each action by the player will determine if they survive as the alarms go off, shanks come out, and the attack begins.
Prison Simulator will be heading to Steam when it launches. Players can add Prison Simulator to their wishlist now and check out the free demo on the game’s Steam page.
