Indie developer Nimble Neuron, formerly known as O’ol Blue, has released their MOBA Battle Royale survival hybrid Eternal Return: Black Survival on Steam. The game is currently in early access as a free to play title with optional DLC that unlocks more characters.
Formerly known as BS:ER or Black Survival: Eternal Return, the is a 3D parallel world of the 2D Black Survival point-and-click real-time survival game. The features both MOBA and Battle Royale elements in a complete survival situation with suspense and strategy.
A total of 18 players will face off against each other in a match. Original characters from the Black Survival universe along with a newly added character Chiara, the Fallen bring the official release character count to 15. Players are able to choose a character out of the several available from the Lumia Island universe where they become a test subject of AGLAIA fighting for their survival using all of the abilities their character enjoys.
Out on the battlefield, besides a keen sense of strategy, crafting is critical for new weapons and armor if one wants to be the last player standing. Other features of the early access game include a completely revamped lobby, spectate mode for custom game matches, dynamic team modes, and some extra surprises for players.
Currently North America and Asia servers run 24/7 during the early access launch. The newly added Europe and South America PVP servers have specific operating times and modes that alternate each day. Custom games and AI modes are open at all times.
Eternal Return: Black Survival is available in early access on Steam as a free to play game with in app purchases. A Starter Pack DLC is available for $29.99 USD that unlocks 8 characters: Hyunwoo, Magnus, Fiora, Nadine, Zahir, Isol, Li Dailin, and Yuki. Nimble Neuron is an independent game developer based in South Korea. The company originally started out as O’ol Blue Inc in 2013 while working on Mighty Quest. Later the studio went on to create Hunters League and MINImax Tinyverse before rebranding and starting work on Eternal Return: Black Survival.
