Killing Floor 2 Lands on Epic Games Store

Tripwire Interactive has released their award-winning co-op FPS horror shooter Killing Floor 2 onto the Epic Games Store. In addition the game will be a part of the free games available on the store this week. The game was previously available on Steam for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

To prevent a divided player base, Tripwire Interactive has worked to enable cross-play and cross-invites between the Steam and Epic Games Store versions of Killing Floor 2. Players can utilize this feature by enabling the Steam to EGS menu option. This will allow current and future players to band together to slaughter the endless horde of zombie-like zeds and their leaders in gore-filled action.

The story of Killing Floor 2 takes players across continental Europe where an outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech has devastated the continent. Their failed experiment has spread far with unstoppable momentum and paralyzed the European Union just a single month after the events in the original Killing Floor. Governments have collapsed, military forces are scattered, and civilization is falling as the people jump into survival and self-preservation mode as they take on the zeds.

Killing Floor 2 is also now available on the Epic Games Store. From July 9 until 8 AM July 16 players can grab a free copy of the game on the Epic Games Store. Players who prefer to own the game on Steam Humble Bundle is running a sale until July 16 pricing the game at $9.89 USD or 67% off the regular price of $29.99 USD. Those with Humble Choice can save an additional $1.98 USD.

The game is also available on console for PS4 and Xbox One. For more information about Killing Floor 2 visit the game’s website at killingfloor2.com or follow @KillingFloor on Twitter.
