Project Xandata Closed Beta Begins

The closed beta for the free online 3v3 competitive arena shooter, Project Xandata has begun. Available on the IDC/Games platform the Secret6 Inc developed title’s beta test will last for two weeks until May 7.

In the FPS, players become a Xandat, one of the best soldiers the world of Xandaigdig has to offer. Combing the strength, technology and weapons of the Seven Great Nations brings a new breed of warriors. These soldiers have beaten back other-worldly enemies saving the world from extinction. Players now need to gear up and fight to prove themselves against other Xandats.

There are three game modes at this time. Skirmish pits Xandat teams against each other in a time-limited battle where each kill earns points. Whichever team reaches the point goal or has the most points at the end wins.

Annihilation mode pits teams against each other where the goal is to completely wipe out the opposing team. Each team has a set number of revives and the first to win 5 rounds is declared the victor. Corruption mode is where fallen opponents drop shards. Collecting the shards gains points, but if a player is killed, they will drop their shards. The team that reaches the point goal or has the most at the time limit wins the match.

Future beta tests will include with localizations in English, Italian, German, Spanish, Polish and Turkish.

Project Xandata closed beta has begun and is available for PC users at the IDC/Games platform. To play for free players will need to log into their IDC/Games account or create an account and install the game client.
