Estonian indie game developer Luminous along with Iceberg Interactive have released the multiplayer RTS Circle Empires Rivals on Steam. This stand-alone release is a sequel to the original award-winning Circle Empires.
In Circle Empires Rivals, players take control of their own tiny kingdoms and conquer a world made up of circles. Each circle landmass is filled with enemies to fight, monsters to hunt, and loot to be claimed. The ultimate goal is to conquer the world, even it means turning on your friends and taking their circles too.
From our humble beginnings as an indie demo almost 5 years ago, I am so excited to complete the ultimate Circle Empires experience with Rivals. Multiplayer is a feature we and our community have been craving for a long time, but it was a lot of work to pull off. We are continually grateful to everyone who has supported us, and just hope to bring some fun into the world during these turbulent times.

Players can partake in co-op or competitive PvP multiplayer modes or go at it alone in the new single-player content. Each world of circles has the possibility of hundreds of different creatures, buildings and harvestable resources.
A players units can gain experience and level up to become more powerful. Other key features include fast-paced action, 10 new biomes with different bonuses and mechanics, over 25 different faction leaders, 40 boss monsters, procedurally generated worlds, and a large range of difficulty options for players of all skill levels.
Circle Empires Rivals is available on Steam for Windows PC at a regular price of $14.99. A special launch promotion runs until April 22, 2020, that discounts the game down to $13.49. Luminous is an indie game company founded by Mihkel Trei who has been developing games since 2002. Based in Tartu, Estonia, the company focuses on creating medieval fantasy strategy games. Previously the studio had released Circle Empires.
Iceberg Interactive (@Iceberg_Int Twitter) is an independent video game publisher based in Haarlem, The Netherlands. Founded in 2009 by an international group of game industry veterans who are also avid gamers. The company works closely with developers from around the world both midsize and indie to bring many exciting games to gamers.
