Developer Wonderscope Games and Team17 have announced their publishing partnership for the community life simulator Hokko Life. The currently in development title is the latest to join Team17’s expanding game label.
As our games label continues to grow, we’re delighted to welcome a game as colourful and creative as Hokko Life. This underlines our ambition to create a label with a diverse selection of gameplay experiences for all audiences, and we can’t wait to give players the chance to explore Hokko for themselves when it launches on PC.Max Everingham, Head of Publishing, Team17
Back in February, Wonderscope Games gave the world a preview of things to come with the release the first game trailer. The focus of the trailer was to demonstrate the wide range of tools available for players to unleashed their design and creativity as they build up their community.
Players are given the freedom to decorate their homes with a personalized touch and style. Custom clothing is available through an extensive editor that allows for unique designs. Within the editor, players can tweak shapes, materials and colors on items such as t-shirts and chairs. One can then choose to share their designs with other characters in the game.
I’m incredibly excited to announce I’ll be partnering with Team17 on Hokko Life. Debbie Bestwick and the team have been wonderfully supportive of me as a developer and I really believe they are a perfect fit for the game. Bringing their experience and expertise on board means Hokko Life can truly become something special, and I simply cannot wait to welcome players to the world of Hokko!Robert Tatnell, Founder and Creator, Wonderscope Games
In addition to it’s design and creativity elements, Hokko Life offers a wide range of other activities. Exploration, gardening, fishing, hunting bugs, and building. There is so much to do and enjoy that one will always find something to do.
Hokko Life is currently being developed for PC with an early access release planned for 2020 on Steam. Players can add now Hokko Life to their wishlist on the Steam platform.
