Available now on Steam, Granblue Fantasy: Versus is a 2D fighting game developed by Cygames and Arc System Works and published by XSEED Games. In the PC version on Steam graphical customization options, support for gamepads, Japanese and English voice options, and several text language support options are available.
Power, skill, and spirit are at the core of the anime styled Granblue Fantasy: Versus as they collide in search of the true champion of the sky. Players can fight against AI opponents or other players in local or online in two-player matches.
In the included RPG mode, an all-new original story told through rendered cutscenes, features deep action RPG gameplay. Waves of enemies in solo or co-op will assault players as they develop their fighters with a comprehensive character and weapon upgrade system. Revealed at Granblue Fantasy Fes 2019, the mysterious hooded figure, better known as Chaos Bringer, is the final boss for the RPG mode.
Already released on the PS4 in Japan and Asia through Cygames and Sega, the game was made available on February 6, 2020. The North America PS4 release by XSEED Games, the independent publishing brand of Marvelous USA, occurred on March 3. Marvelous Europe will release the PS4 version for the European market on March 27.
The PC version will not include any digital purchase goods for the original Granblue Fantasy game. In addition the PC version will not support cross-play with the PS4 system nor has it been rated by the ESRB.
Granblue Fantasy: Versus is available now for PC users on Steam. Pricing is set at $59.99 USD for the standard PC edition and the Character Pass Set edition, which includes the base game, character Color Pack DLC 1-3, Character Pass DLC for 5 additional characters, plus lobby avatar Nice-abs Vyrn is available for $79.99 USD. For the PS4 the standard edition is $59.99 USD, Character Pass Set at $79.99 USD and the Digital Deluxe special edition at $99.99 USD.
