Publisher Aksys Games along with developer Lentera Studio released today their visually stunning side-scrolling adventure Ghost Parade.
The story of Ghost Parade follows a young girl named Suri and her adventures. She takes a journey into a mysterious forest where she gets lost on her way home from school. What quickly starts out as a mission to get home turns into a fight to save a forest full of supernatural residents from shortsighted humans looking for profit.
It is up to Suri along with 30 different ghostly companions to save the forest. On this journey players can interact with up to 70 helpful spirits over the course of the adventure.
Based on Indonesian mythology and folklore players can dive into a fully realized world beyond the known with a magical and mystical atmosphere. Gameplay features a combination of metroidvania side-scrolling adventure along with visual storytelling elements.
