Blazing Chrome Futuristic Retro Shooter Out Now

Get ready to fight for the world’s survival in Blazing Chrome, the retro stylized futuristic co-op shooter from publisher The Arcade Crew and developer Joymasher.

In the distant future of the Blazing Chrome universe, militant AI-powered computers rule the Earth and humans are totally expendable. Humans lack the power, the prestige, and status among the machine overlords. Needless to say humans have never liked being told what do. A small group of rebels have had enough and are trying to overthrow the machines.

With today’s release of Blazing Chrome comes a very appropriate gameplay trailer, in addition to past gameplay videos, that showcases the game’s retro look and introduce player’s to the resistance’s two main warrior heroes Marva and Doyle. Marva is a resilient soldier reminiscent of classic arcade shooter bad asses and Doyle a robot who has had a change of heart.

Combat in Blazing Chrome features a wide and varied arsenal of distinctive and destructive weapons. In the battle against the ruthless AI players also have access to pilot-able mechs, vehicles, and other unlockable characters.

Featuring realistic 16-bit 2D post-apocalyptic side-scrolling environments combined with fast-paced run and gun shooting, Blazing Chrome brings back the distinctive classic arcade action feeling. Adding in some modern refinements and players will have a satisfying shoot’em experience as they scrap hordes of mechanized enemies and skyscraper-sized bosses.

Blazing Chrome is available today, July 11, 2019 for PC on Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 for $16.99 USD.
