Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic Content Update

Indie game studio 3DIVISION released Content Update #1 for their real-time soviet-themed city builder Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic on Steam today.

Launched into Early Access back in March 2019, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is set in an imaginary communist country in Eastern Europe. The game quickly became a best-selling hit in the genre.

With the first content update the focus is on transportation. Car park infrastructures can be built for easy parking and better traffic management. New mechanics for personal cars along with the ability to produce road vehicles in car factories are available. Cars can also be exported to foreign countries that have been inspired by the Eastern bloc.

With this new patch of Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, personal cars inspired by old models from from the Eastern bloc will be available within the game. We also added several new trucks, trams and trains.

New trams, trucks, and trains that are inspired by models from Poland, Romania, Czechoslovakia, and other Eastern bloc countries are available as players plan out and build their transportation infrastructure. Traffic, roads, railways, sidewalks, conveyors, wiring, and pipelines will require management to provide efficient connections between houses, factories, and warehouses.

In the new update players can also check their stats per city in the city hall.

Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic is currently available in Early Access on Steam for $24.99 USD. The game will remain in Early Access for about 20 more months. During that time the developer plans to add new types of transportation, vehicles, buildings, and gameplay mechanics. More information about the game can be found on its website at sovietrepublic.net.
