Jack Axe Open Beta Weekend

Players looking for a 2D open-world adventure this weekend can jump into the Open Beta Access for Jack Axe from developer Keybol Games and publisher Another Indie.

Jack Axe follows a simple premise. The protagonist is Jack and she has an axe hence Jack Axe. With that out of the way, she is joined with her sisters and their magical axes as they break the taboos of their society. They do this by rebuking the axes are for boys nonsense from their old-fashioned god.

Call it bravery or naivety, but Jack is going to confront divinities while and the other nasty stuff out there like platforming challenges, enemies, spikes, girl eating plants, and bottomless pits. There are too many other things to list that can cause Jack to have an early trip to Valhalla.

The world of Jack Axe is a magical world inspired by a fusion of Filipino and Norse mythologies. Additional inspiration came from great classic titles such as Celeste, Super Meat Boy, Super Mario World, and God of War. Jack Axe’s game story was written by Bari and Melai Silvestre along with their three imaginative daughters.

Players can play with up to four players in campaign and party modes as they take on the open-world 2D adventure of platforming challenges and axe tossing.

Jack Axe will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PS4 in the near future. Players interested in participating in the Open Beta Access will need to drop by the game’s official Discord https://discordapp.com/invite/ai and follow the instructions.

The planned release date for Jack Axe is September 2, 2019 and players can wishlist the game on Steam now.
