Battle Bolts Blasts Its Way on to Steam

Shot Second and Croteam have cleared the way for their action-packed virtual board game Battle Bolts to blast its way on to Steam.

Published under the Croteam Incubator name, Battle Bolts is a strategy filled battle arena. With up to 4 players, each will be programming their moves in advance to outwit and outmaneuver each other for dominance. Players can enjoy a traditional board game look and experience against the AI or other players.

I’ve always been a huge fan of board games. In a way, they have made an impact on my life almost as much as music has. So, in between composing for Serious Sam and The Talos Principle I’ve played around with prototyping different games that would take care of my board game itch. Finally, my mind was set on Battle Bolts, so here we are. It’s everything I love about board games transferred to a screen. I can’t wait for everyone to try it out.

Key features of this deadly battle arena game include turn-based moves. Players will need to think ahead and plan their next four moves while being aware of the unpredictable nature of other players. By utilizing board elements, players can play a game of cat and mouse while destroying their opponents.
