The Farm 51 has already launched their Chernobylite Kickstarter campaign and in just a week they have hit over $94,000 out of the $100,000 funding goal. A pre-alpha Kickstarter demo gameplay video has also been released highlighting many of the games current key features.

Combat, unique crafting, and non-linear storytelling just scratch the surface of this exceptional title from the studio that created the critically acclaimed Get Even.

Within the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone players are left to ally or compete with the other stalkers of the area to survive. Life is fragile, and decision determine the fate of players and their companions. It is recommended to not blindly trust everyone as everyone has their own agenda.

Players can craft gear and weapons that are necessary to protect themselves from hostile military personnel, supernatural threats, and environmental dangers. Stay hidden, stay undetected, and gather evidence to piece together the past using sophisticated environment and substance-analyzing tools.

Something bad happened here. Savage creatures are pouring out from an alternate reality. Each day brings new challenges and ever-increasing severity of the current situation.

Each gameplay is unique. Similar to roguelike game, many elements of the game are random. Even the very important things such as quests and characters who players will meet. Decisions affect the world around the player. Every character in the game can die and every task can be failed. The script doesn’t drive the story, the player drives the story with their skills and decisions all of which have their own consequences.

Chernobylite is currently in the middle of its Kickstarter campaign. At the time of this article the campaign has raised $94,377. Interested backers should visit the Chernobylite’s campaign Kickstarter page. The game’s Steam page is available for those who want to add the game to their wishlist.
